The absolute best part is how the progs are so serious and egotistical they've lost all self awareness and awareness of reality, essentially. Add on their demand of absolute adherence and submission and it easily gets absurd. If some kid posts a racist meme for the lulz it's literally inconceivable to them that the kid may not actually be a racist. They just see red and go read their rulebook on how to proceed. BamaAtl is probably the best example of this on this board. Absolutely zero sense of humor and the state must be used to crush all those who she deems not thinking the correct way. I mean, it's not like this isn't prevalent here as well. I making a living off of our residents that act exactly like this. I'm 28 but have friends that range from early 20's-late 30's. I think the decade before me isn't necessarily more conservative as they are more libertarian. I don't care if two men want to have sex with each other, and neither do people younger than me. And I don't even care if they want to get married. It's not my cup of tea and I don't think it makes America better, but I'd rather when 2 become 1 gif government stay out of our personal lives. In a strange twist, I do think the younger generation is slightly more racist than mine. Or maybe they're just more open about it. It's humorous and edgy to say borderline racist stuff. You also have a generation of people who were raised seeing Muslims constantly trying to blow shite up. Middle class white kids aren't scared of Muslims. It's tough to generalize because attitudes will vary based on region. But I think in general the younger generation isn't responding well to constantly being told how to think.
